BUILD Students Bring in Over $5,700 in Sales at Spring Sales Bazaar 1

Aroma Squeeze

Aroma Squeeze sold 99 of their innovative aroma therapy stress balls, making them the highest grossing business of the evening.

BUILD students sold more than $5,700 worth of products at our Spring Sales Bazaar at Davio’s on March 30.  At least 300 shoppers from nearby office buildings stopped in to support these young entrepreneurs at our biggest Spring sales event ever.

For a 15 year-old to be able to take an idea and turn it into a real, profitable business is a transformational experience. It’s the kind of tangible success that can change the path of a young person’s life.

I-Scented

I-Scented is a team from Charlestown High selling multi-scented candles.

By shopping at bazaars like this, you can play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission of using entrepreneurship to ignite the potential of youth in under-resourced communities and equip them for high school, college and career success.

In just 90 minutes, many student teams completely sold out.  Our top sellers, Aroma Squeeze, sold 99 units and team I-Scented was close behind them with nearly $500 in sales.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our young entrepreneurs.   Be sure to sign up for our mailing list if you want to be notified of more events like this in the future.

BUILD students took over our snapchat account for the evening. Watch the event through their eyes.
